Brief:  Child Abuse

The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) is the first licensed non-profit shelter in the UAE for women and children victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking. It was established in July 2007 to offer victims immediate protection and support services in accordance with international human rights obligations.

Concept:
Picking the right friends, so that the child doesn’t get leaded to the wrong path and cause harm to himself and others around.
It aims to prevent the physical and emotional abuse of children by mobilizing adults, families and communities to take action to protect the children before they are harmed. a print ad was created in order to raise awareness about abuse toward children.

Objective:
A community free of violence and abuse.
Raise community awareness about assault on children.
Educate public about preventing harassment of children.
Educating parents on identifying the signs of abuse in children.
Educate the children about protecting themselves from getting abused.

The campaign used clear, straightforward, simple and positive messages, due to the fact that it is a more effective method of convincing the audience. The purpose of this campaign is to educate, inform and most importantly to raise awareness.
